Goals from the news

Taleco Gear recalled 41,100 baby jumpers and swings sold online after at least 32 injuries

41,100 Taleco Gear jumpers and swings, sold only online, can tip over and strangle. The refund needs photos of a destroyed seat. The goal: reach every buyer and clear every listing.

What happened

The story, from the record.

On August 13, 2026 Taleco Gear and the Consumer Product Safety Commission recalled about 41,100 baby jumpers, baby swings and two-in-one jumper swings in the United States, and 150 in Canada. They were sold only online, on Amazon, Walmart.com and TalecoGear.com, from April 2021 through July 2026 for $65 to $120.

The products can become unstable, and the hanging straps and seat openings can strangle. The company had at least 52 reports of falls, impacts and strangulation hazards, including at least 32 injuries such as head bumps and a bloody nose.

The remedy is a full refund. To claim it, a parent cuts the straps, photographs the destroyed product and its model label, and fills in a form. The company's recall page lists 14 Amazon product numbers for the recalled models.

Every unit was sold online, so every buyer has an order record. The work is reaching each one, and making sure none of the 14 listings, or a resale of one, is still live.

How OneShot would run it

The goal this leaves open.

OneShot was not involved in this event. This is how the goal it describes would run as one OneShot goal: what one case is, when the goal is done, the steps per case, and the known tool costs for one pass.

The goal

Reach every buyer, see every recalled unit destroyed and refunded, and keep the 14 listings, and any resale of them, off sale.

One case
One order of a recalled model, or one live listing.
Starts
When a marketplace's buyer list arrives, and whenever the weekly search finds a listing.
Done when
Every order ends refunded with the destruction photos on file, or unreached once the contact rule runs out. Every listing found ends removed.
Keeps trying
An email, a text three days later, then a letter, then the order is marked unreached. A listing is reported again every week it stays up.
Asks a person before
Each refund, and every notice sent in Taleco Gear's name.
